CTS Successfully Completes Comprehensive Inspection Services for WUF13 at Baku Olympic Stadium

Baku, Azerbaijan — May 2026

Caspian Technical Solution (CTS) is pleased to announce the successful completion of comprehensive third-party inspection, quality assurance, and technical verification services for the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13), held at Baku Olympic Stadium from 17–22 May 2026.

As part of this prestigious international event, CTS delivered a multidisciplinary inspection program covering structural, civil, concrete, mechanical, electrical, and infrastructure elements to verify compliance with applicable international standards, project specifications, and safety requirements. The inspection activities supported the safe construction, installation, and operational readiness of temporary event facilities and associated infrastructure.

Project Scope

CTS provided a broad range of inspection and verification services throughout the project, including:

• Visual inspection (VT) of welded and bolted structural connections
• Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) and Penetrant Testing (PT) for weld integrity verification
• Structural steel inspection and connection verification
• Material identification and conformity verification
• Concrete inspection, including visual assessment of concrete elements, verification of structural condition, and non-destructive concrete testing using the Schmidt Rebound Hammer to evaluate surface hardness and estimate compressive strength
• Verification of concrete foundations, anchor systems, and embedded structural components
• Inspection of civil works and temporary infrastructure
• Electrical inspection, including cable routing, electrical panels, earthing systems, terminations, and installation quality
• HVAC installation inspection and mechanical system verification
• Verification of installation quality against engineering drawings and project specifications
• Drone-assisted inspections for structural assessment, elevated access inspections, and overall site condition monitoring
