CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector Training
This training course is primarily designed for inspection engineers and supervisory personnel. Individuals with little or no experience in welding are strongly advised to first complete the Visual Welding Inspector Certification course.
The training includes both theoretical and practical exam preparation exercises.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will be able to:

Understand the factors affecting weld quality in steels

Identify the characteristics of welding processes that impact quality

Correctly interpret drawings and welding symbols and follow technical instructions

Perform inspections on welds, macrosections, and other mechanical tests and generate reports

Evaluate and document welds according to acceptance criteria

Verify that incoming materials meet specifications and assess how deviations can affect quality

Be fully prepared to sit for the CSWIP Welding Inspector examination
Entry Requirements
A minimum of 3 years of work experience in the field of welding is required for this training.
